The owners of the Rocheport General Store are some of the nicest folks I've ever met. And their ice cream is super in demand (and super generous in serving size). My (then-fiance) and I stopped in here one summer after biking from Columbia to Rocheport on the MKT trail, and they were just incredibly gracious and offered us water, directions, recommendations on places to see, and were just very hospitable to us, even though we didn't buy anything (though we did promise to come back for ice cream, which we did). There's also a stray cat that sometimes meanders by outside who's very cute.
Great place to spend time, eat, and listen to good music.
Great fun! Local Music on Friday and Saturday. Nice Dark beer available. Desert and food and I put ice cream into it's own category of course. Must Visit
